Worldwide Wheelchair Accessible Washrooms

Rome

wheelchair icon The Coloseum - Piazza del Colosseo. This was an accessible stall. Plenty of room. I can't remember if it had a toilet seat or not.

wheelchair icon Burger King - on the corner of Largo Chigi and Via del Tritone. This washroom was rather dirty, but it had a toilet seat and was one large room with bars.

wheelchair icon Villa Borghese Park - No formal address - you can't miss it on your map, big large green space in the north part of the city., in the main building. When you enter the building at the bar, the accessible washrooms are to the left of the bar, not the right. There are washrooms to the right, but they are small and awkward. The ones to the left are single room washrooms. There are 2 each for men and women. There is a toilet seat and handrails, however the toilet seat when I was there was rather unsturdy and weak. It didn't stay in place. There is also a wheelchair accessible port-a-potty in the park, but I did not use this.

wheelchair icon Stazione Termini - Piazza dei Cinquecento. This washroom was a room within a bathroom. Normally you have to pay to get in this washroom, but wheelchair users do not have to. Plenty of room, toilet seat, bars.

wheelchair icon McDonald's - via del Corso, 119-121. Separate room, no toilet seat. Not sure if there were bars.

wheelchair icon The Vatican Museum - Viale Vaticano, Vatican City. This is a stall within a washroom. It had a toilet seat and I am not sure about bars.

wheelchair icon The Capitoline Museum, Palazzo Nuovo - Piazza del Campidoglio, 1. Bars. No toilet seat.

wheelchair icon Museo Nazionale Romana, Crypto Balbi - via delle Botteghe Oscure, 31. Separate washroom for wheelchairs, one big room with bars. Not sure about a toilet seat.
